Quick answer
Can I pay for Claude Pro with crypto?
No. As of 22 October 2026, Anthropic’s pricing page lists only a credit card for Claude Pro and Max on the web, and official gift subscriptions are “currently unavailable to purchase”. Claude also bills through the App Store and Google Play, so an Apple or Google Play balance bought with crypto can pay a subscription started in the app. Pro costs $20 a month.

Can I give or buy a Claude gift subscription?
Not at the moment. Anthropic has gift subscriptions, but its help page says they are “currently unavailable to purchase”, with no return date given on 22 October 2026. Gifts bought earlier can still be redeemed at claude.ai/gift/redeem.
Can an App Store or Google Play balance pay for Claude?
Yes, when you subscribe inside the app. Claude sells its subscription in its iPhone and Android apps, billed by Apple or Google. Apple says an Apple Account balance from Apple Gift Cards pays for “apps, subscriptions, and more”; Google says Play balance can “Pay for subscriptions on Google Play”. Anthropic notes that its web prices may differ from mobile prices.
- The route: buy an Apple or Google Play gift card from a gift card seller that accepts crypto, redeem it on your own account, then subscribe in the Claude app.
- Country: buy a card for the same country as your Apple or Google account.
- Billing: the subscription is then managed in your Apple or Google account, and the in-app price is set separately from the web price.
Is it safe to buy a cheap Claude account for crypto?
No. Offers of Claude for crypto on marketplaces and Telegram, often far below the official price, sell access to an account that is shared or paid for by someone else. Anthropic’s Consumer Terms says: “You may not share your Account login information, Anthropic API key, or Account credentials with anyone else.”
Such an account can be closed without refund, and anyone else on it can see your conversations and files. The guide to cheap AI accounts and API keys lists the warning signs.
What about the Claude API?
The Anthropic API is paid with a card in the Console (older monthly-invoiced accounts get Stripe invoices), and Anthropic’s Commercial Terms allow resale only “as expressly approved by Anthropic”. LLMwithCrypto has no such approval and does not offer Claude in any form. If what you need is a language model API paid in crypto, our open-weight models — such as DeepSeek V4 Pro at $1.254 per million input tokens — run behind an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
