Is it cheaper than DeepSeek's own API?
At DeepSeek's peak hours, yes: our price is 5% below the median of the hosts that list each model, and for V4 Pro and V4.1 Flash that median equals DeepSeek's peak rate. Off-peak, no: DeepSeek halves its prices then, and its own API is cheaper than ours.

How does DeepSeek's own platform take payment?
Its FAQ says: “You can top up online via PayPal, bank card, Alipay, or WeChat Pay” (read 22 October 2026). We found no crypto option.
The same FAQ has entries for personal and enterprise real-name verification, without saying whether API access requires it. DeepSeek's terms of use also forbid lending or providing your account to others, so a shared or resold DeepSeek account is not a safe way around the payment methods.
Is it the same model as on DeepSeek's platform?
It is the same family of open weights that DeepSeek published under the MIT licence, which allows anyone to serve them. Only open-weight models whose licences allow serving them as an API: DeepSeek, Qwen, gpt-oss, Mistral, Llama, Gemma and others listed on the models page. We run them on GPUs we rent and operate. Answers can still differ slightly between any two hosts of the same model, because serving settings differ; test your prompts before you switch a production workload.
