LLM API pricing: per token, 5% below the median host price

You buy credit in crypto, then every call spends it per input and output token, at the price of the model you call. One rule sets every price: the median of the public hosts that list the model, minus 5%. No subscription, no seat fee. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents.

Quick answer

How much does the LLMwithCrypto API cost?

You pay per token from prepaid credit. As of 23 October 2026, DeepSeek V4 Pro costs $1.254 per million input tokens and $3.762 per million output tokens, and gpt-oss-20b costs $0.033 and $0.161. Every price is 5% below the median of public hosts. Credit packs start at $25, paid in crypto with no KYC.

Which credit pack should I buy?

Packs are sold at face value: $50 of credit costs $50. Credit pays for every model and never expires, so the pack size only decides how often you top up.

Prices in USD per 1,000,000 tokens, counted by each model’s own tokenizer. Cached-input discounts are not offered yet.

How is one API call billed?

You pay per token from your balance: input and output tokens are counted by the model’s own tokenizer and charged at that model’s price per 1M tokens. A call that ends in an error costs nothing.

An example with DeepSeek V4 Pro: a request of 2,000 input tokens that gets a 500-token answer costs 2,000 × $1.254 / 1,000,000 plus 500 × $3.762 / 1,000,000. The dashboard shows the tokens and the cost of every call, and GET https://llmwithcrypto.com/api/v1/credits returns what is left.

Why 5% below the median and not the lowest listed price?

Because the lowest listing is often a promotion, a slower tier or a quantized copy of the model. The median of 14 public hosts is a fair market price, and 5% below it is a rule you can check yourself on the price index.

We do not sell GPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok at any price. We do not sell access to GPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok: their makers forbid reselling API access without their approval, and we do not have it.

Are there any fees on top?

  • No subscription and no seat fee. You only pay for tokens.
  • Network fee. Your wallet or exchange charges a network fee when you send crypto; it is not ours. USDT on TRC-20 usually costs the least to send for small amounts.
  • Minimum top-up: $25. Credit on your balance does not expire and pays for tokens on any model, whenever you call the API. When a pack costs less than the minimum top-up, the part you paid only to reach that minimum comes back on request within 30 days of payment, in USDT or USDC, provided it is still unspent. The rest of a balance is not paid out unless the law requires it.
  • Failed calls cost nothing. A request that ends in a server error is not charged.

How payment works

  1. Top up $25 or more

Choose the amount and the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC). The crypto amount and its rate are locked for 30 minutes.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our deposit address for the coin and network you picked: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the amount.

  3. Send the exact amount shown, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each top-up has its own exact amount (down to the last decimals): that is how we find your payment and link it to your account.

  4. Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain

Your balance is credited once we have checked the transaction on the blockchain, after the network has confirmed it. Typical network confirmation times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. One balance for every model

Pick a credit pack first and the top-up is set to its price, or to the minimum for a cheaper pack. Once the top-up is credited, the pack is added and your API key appears in the dashboard; every call then spends tokens from that credit.

Closed the tab? The pending top-up stays under Billing in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

Pricing questions

Is there a free tier?

There is no free tier: the smallest credit pack is the way to try it, and unspent credit never expires.

Do prices change?

Yes, when the market moves. We read the public host prices again and apply the same rule; a call is charged at the price shown when it runs. Every change is dated in the changelog.

Why can I not buy GPT or Claude here?

We do not sell access to GPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok: their makers forbid reselling API access without their approval, and we do not have it. The resale rules dataset quotes each provider.

Can I get a refund?

A credit pack bought in the last 72 hours goes back to your balance if less than 20% of it was spent. If the API does not work for you and support cannot fix it within 24 hours, the unspent credit goes back to your balance. Top-ups stay on the balance and are not paid out unless the law requires it; whatever you added only to reach the minimum top-up comes back on request within 30 days, in USDT or USDC, as long as it is unspent.

Which coins can I pay with?

BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Tether goes over Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20); USD Coin over Ethereum only. The crypto payments page explains each step.
